From the introduction of this volume we learn that it is “from the fraternal friendship of the two authors, both romagnoli and passionate about postal history, and therefore a sincere tribute to this industrious land and rich in a past harbinger of genuine patriotism.”
The book recounts with patriotic fervour the postal affairs of the Provisional Government of Romagna born from the political-military events generated by the second war of independence in 1859.
This volume is the result of thirty years of passionate research and dedication, a work that offers a deep dive into the homeland history of postal communications of this fascinating period of great patriotism of the Italian Risorgimento.
The book will be available on 15 October at the Hotel Villa EUR, the venue for the ITALIA 2026 event.
